New page on biogas just added

The new page raises the question: is biogas the answer for poor families in developing countries ?

Small-scale biogas plants can provide cooking fuel for individual households in settled rural communities where families own at least 5 cattle.  It has limited application for the very poorest in such communities as they do not generally own cattle.  The new page shows a small biogas digester being constructed in the kitchen garden of a rural family home in India and a small 2-burner cooking stove in use in the kitchen.
